How to Use: After
cleansing, as the first step in skincare routine, use cotton pad and use gentle
circular motions with the criss-cross gauze side over the face and leave it to
be absorbed. Before using, lightly shake
the bottle. Use sunscreen before
stepping out because it can increase skin sensitivity towards UV rays.

Review: I got this product from Jolse.com for free in
exchange for honest review. This is my
first time winning a giveaway, and I managed to win the product that I
desperately want, so you can I was beyond ecstatic!
Anyway, I used to have really bad acne and am now suffering from bad
acne scars, so I have been dying to try out AHAs.
As stated in the description, this product contains AHA, BHA and PHA
that are extracted from milk (hence, the name.)
AHA is used for exfoliation. It
shed off your dead skin cells and promotes the growth of new layer of
skin. It will even your skin tone. BHA is used to clean your pore, control your
sebum formation and hinder acne. PHA is
the same with AHA, except not as strong.
I have been using Cosrx’s Natural BHA Skin Returning Emulsion and I have
to admit that it has done a good job in curbing acne.
This product, on the other hand, is inundated with acids.
AHAs: Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid,
Citric Acid
BHA: Salicylic Acid
PHAs: Lactobionic Acid, Gluconolactone
Anyway, back to this product, I received it in mid-November and have
been using it since.
The product smells pretty strongly of fragrance, which I don’t quite
like. The toner is white, like
milk. I really need to shake the bottle
(as per How-to-Use) because the liquid is layered. The consistency of the product is really
watery, like your regular toner. It
absorbs pretty well, usually taking only around 15 minutes to be fully absorbed
by my skin.
After receiving it, I used it once every two days and true to it’s name,
my skin becomes lightly peeled. I changed
my routine and use it once every three days to avoid over-exfoliation.
So far, it has done me good. I do
believe that it has been doing it’s job, peeling my skin and promoting the growth
of new layers of skin. I believe I will need to use it longer for a more
accurate review (I am talking like 4-5 months), so I will probably edit this if
I change my mind later.
Will I continue using it? Hell
yeah! Will I repurchase? That remains to be seen. For that price tag, I do believe I can buy
something cheaper for the same effect.
Verdict: 3.5/5
